THE VISION OF CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH is to continue...
-- GROWING -- REACHING
-- SHARING --
Lets look at it.....
|
GROWING UP IN THE WORD |
What does this
mean? "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciple, and you will know the truth, and that truth
will make you free."
We grow in the Word by:
- Reading the Bible often and growing in our
understanding of God’s message.
- Studying the Bible with our families, friends, and other
disciples.
- Attending weekly Worship and special services to hear the Gospel proclaimed through the Word and Sacraments. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that it is completely true and without error. The Bible is the only source of faith and knowledge about God and His will for us. As we spend more time in God’s Word, we mature in our faith and draw closer in our walk with Him.

REACHING OUT WITH THE GOSPEL |
What does this mean?
And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned. "Mark 16:15-16" We reach out with the Gospel by:
- Sharing the message of salvation in Christ our Savior with our friends and neighbors through our actions and
words.
- Supporting and encouraging mission efforts throughout the world with prayer and financial support.
- Attending to those in our community who are in need both physically and spiritually.
Jesus has directed us to "GO make disciples of all nations." This includes reaching out to others in a variety of ways. Whether it is through service programs, social/recreational events, educational opportunities, or personal visits, each is done with the primary focus on the Gospel message of salvation in Jesus Christ.

| SHARING
CHRIST’S LOVE WITH ONE ANOTHER |
What does this mean?
"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us.And our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ."
1 John 1:3 We have fellowship in Christ by:
- Sharing our common faith through gatherings for Worship and Bible study.
- Joining in activities for
congregational fellowship, such
as, youth group, choir, Tabitha, sports, and various organizations.
- Using the gifts He has blessed us with for service in His Church. In the Bible we see Jesus’ desire to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people...and He calls us to do the same. Coming together in Christian fellowship activities allows us the opportunity to demonstrate His love to each other.
